Eligibility for Union Membership

Union membership is open to anyone who wants to support the objectives and goals of the International Union for the Natural Health, Complementary & Alternative Medicine Professions (IUNH).

Regular membership consists of those members who are employed by or through businesses that have entered into a Collective Bargaining Agreement with IUNH.  These members have all rights and privileges of full union membership, including voting rights and the option to participate in all union benefit programs.

Associate Membership is open to people who desire to aid in our objectives but who are not employees covered by a Union collective bargaining agreement.  Contributing Membership is open to people who desire to fund one or more of the union scholarship programs.  Associate or contributing members shall not have any rights to vote in Union elections or membership meetings.  These members will be eligible for all union privilege benefit programs, but are generally not eligible to participate in the health and welfare program.
